Hi, this is Jared. I was born on May 11th at El Camino Hospital. This picture was taken just after the nurses gave me my first bath. Here's how it all started...
Mom woke up around 8:30 in the morning and her water broke. We went to the doctor, and she said today was the big day. We had a couple hours to kill, so we went to Grandma's house to relax.
This is mom, just before we went to the hospital. Labor started around noon, and at 1 o'clock they started inducing. By 2:30 mom was in a LOT of pain and opted for the epidural.

This is actually the first picture taken of me. Right now the nurses are trying to figure out why I'm not crying. There's really nothing to cry about...
